About Us

Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding has one simple goal or mission statement: It's not to be the biggest ... IT'S OUR DESIRE TO BE THE BEST!

Large play arenas, air conditioning throughout the facility, large outdoor dog run, rubber floors, and staff with red cross and other industry accreditations, are all ready and wanting to provide your dog with the best experience in play and boarding.

We have 5000 sq ft of fun and comfort. There are bigger facilities, but the owners have kept their eyes on the desire to be the best.

With that in mind, Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding has been designed with all your dogs' needs and wants. Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding is a result of the Collins family love of dogs, their companionship and a desire to reward them for their unconditional love. It's a doggie way of "paying it forward", so to speak. Owners, Colleen and Jack Collins and their 3 children Jack, Maggie and Joe have been avid dog lovers for years. Colleen has worked with and observed animal behaviorists for over 15 years and Maggie is enrolled at the University of Illinois Champaign majoring in pre-veterinarian and animal science. They have rescued 4 dogs in the last 9 years alone. Riley and Rory both black lab mixes are the two latest residing with them. Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding is the culmination of a 3-year search to find the right place for opening a new doggie daycare business.

Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding has made the commitment to offer you the best our industry has to offer. We are members of the Pet Care Services Association, (formerly American Boarding and Kennel Association) and the American Red Cross, for canine CPR. We are also operating under the strict guidance of the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

We believe Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding is the right place at the right time. Stop by for a tour, or call for information. We're sure you'll agree, IT IS THE BEST.

Watch for our special nights where we honor hero dogs. "The Dogs of DuPage", a series of nights honoring guide dogs, service dogs, therapy dogs, police dogs, etc. Real heroes. It's your chance to meet and greet these heroes and thank them.
